Early life & education of famous American Author Dr. Haroon Ullah

Dr. Haroon Ullah is a famous American Author. He wrote many famous books by mostly focusing on South Asia and the Middle East, often Pakistan and Afghanistan. Many of his books are award winning Vying for Allah’s Vote (Georgetown University Press) and The Bargain from the Bazaar (Public Affairs Books).
Early life & education of Dr. Haroon Ullah

Dr. Haroon Ullah was brought up in a farming society in Washington State. Ullah had keen interest in politics so he joined Whitman College in year 1999 to get his graduation in Politics. Then he went to Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government to complete his post graduation in the year 2002. There he served as a senior Belfer fellow and earned his MPA and was a presidential scholar.. Thereafter Dr. Haroon got his PhD from University of Michigan jointly in two fields’ political science and public policy. He was a National Security Education Program Fellow, William J. Fulbright Fellow, and a Woodrow Wilson Public Service Fellow.

Dr. Haroon Ullah is a scholar, diplomat, policy fractioned & filed researcher and he conducted many researches in many places including Pakistan, where he studied the roots of Islamic extremism, digital strategy, countering violent extremism and transmedia engagement. Beside this he headed field experiments and also interviewed party activists. The books written by him, mostly focuses on technology and youth in the Muslim world called Digital World War.
